You gotta admit – the huge Ice King was pretty damn cool.

Ice Storm in-game event begins Saturday, January 19th at 2pm EST.
In-game televisions in Fortnite Battle Royale are now displaying a countdown, stating Weather Warning. The timer on the TVs is counting down to tomorrow, Saturday, 1/19 at 2 PM EST.
Similar to the Fortnitemares Challenges when we saw monsters spawning on the island, the Ice Storm will bring us frost monsters, big and small, melee and ranged. A new group of challenges will have players killing hundreds of monsters and Ice Shards (the monsters spawns).
Update: 24 hours until the live in-game event and orb has began to change and glow, see below!

And now we can see that the lines around the orb actually create a clock, with lines being removed every 2 hours. Once 24 hours has passed, all 12 lines will disappear and something will happen tomorrow, Saturday, 2pm EST!
As for the in-game event itself, not much is known besides this leaked footage of the Ice King inside, with something glowing in his hands. Small Spoiler.
Video explains itself
No hacking to the game itself was done to achieve this, no competitive advantage was gained.
This does not violate the Fortnite/Epic Games TOS in anyway that i know of.
