Vending machines are coming to Fortnite Battle Royale

Exchange your extra building materials for some nice loot at the (soon to come) Fortnite Battle Royale vending machines.  We first saw the vending machine in a Reddit thread where a player had experienced a weird bug when the game started.  It’s almost like Epic Games wants us to see them before they’re released.

“When the game started i couldn’t jump from the bus and it auto kicked me from the bus and i dropped at Lonely Lodge. The game was laggy and my teammate couldn’t see me. I heard a weird noise and i approached it and found the vending machine.”

It’s interesting to see Epic adding new items that aren’t weapons.  We just got the almighty loot llamas which are packed with items and 500 of each material, and now we get to turn all those materials in for more weapons.  From the screen shots we’ve seen, it looks like there will be different priced differently.

We can only assume that these won’t be spawned every time.  If they were, then the new strategy would be to clear out Wailing Woods and then pay a visit to the good old vending machine.  Could they spawn like chests? Maybe like a loot llama?  There are 3 loot llamas per match, so maybe we would see 10 vending machines spawning at different locations.  Super rare or very common? What do you think?
